EDUCATION IS MORE THAN PASSING DOWN KNOWLEDGE

tNCC EduCenter began in January 2014, in line with the church’s vision to provide alternative education for young people at affordable costs as a service to our community.

tNCC EduCenter is headed by Principal Joy Tan, who comes with many years of experience in education, together with a group of professional and dedicated teachers.

Education Pathway with tNCC EduCenter:

• Primary (Grades 1 to 6)
  Our primary education programme comprises both Mainstream and Exceptional Learners Unit (ELU) classes to accommodate the learning needs of our students under the UK & Eduseeds syllabus (an education system that combines multimedia-based online learning and in-class interaction).

• • Mainstream: Classroom-based learning environment
  • ELU: Self-paced learning environment for students with special needs.

• Lower Secondary (Grades 7 and 8)
  Classroom-based learning environment under the Cambridge UK Syllabus
• Upper Secondary / IGCSE Exam Preparation Class (Grades 9 and 10)
  Classroom-based learning environment in preparation for the IGCSE examination

Subjects offered:

• Primary:
  English, Mathematics, Science, Pure Sciences (Grade 6 only), Social Studies, Malay, Mandarin, Bible, Project, Coding, Physical Education (PE)
• Lower Secondary:
  English, Mathematics, Pure Sciences, Malay, Mandarin, Bible, Projects, Coding and PE
• Upper Secondary:
  First Language English, English as a Second Language, Extended Mathematics, Extended Pure Sciences, Additional Mathematics, Malay as a Foreign Language, Mandarin as a Foreign Language, Accounting, Business Studies and PE
• To provide a holistic and all-rounded education, we also include Chapel (for all), Club activities and Critical Thinking & Public Speaking classes for secondary students.
